From Moncton (NB), Travis Cormier has been influenced early on by pop-rock and country music. He packed his bags at 17 to complete his studies at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He regularly performed at the renowned Roxy and Whiskey A Go-Go to feed his burning desire of becoming a world class musician.
Back to Canada in 2016, he became a finalist on the popular Quebec version of The Voice. His rendition of «Dream On» from his idol Steven Tyler set the stage for international delirium on social media and was viewed over 7 million times on YouTube in the first week alone. Shortly after, impressed by his incredible talent, the Aerosmith frontman invited him to perform his success «I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing» with him at a Niagara Falls concert and the same year.
He released his first album Dollars & Hearts in 2018. Produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi) and recorded at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, the album reached over 400 000 streams on Spotify and includes tracks co-written with Richie Sambora. A country version of his first single was also made available and has been added to important playlists such as New Music Nashville, Down Home Country et New Country Friday. In 2018, Travis had another career milestone when he opened for Bon Jovi at a sold out Bell Centre in Montreal.
